When I heard Bush say that shit I spewed. I mean, he is always on vacation. He only left his holiday one time and that was to try to pass a Constitutional amendment to have Terri Schiavo hooked up like a sub-human all of her life, instead of letting her RIP. He cared that much for one person, but not one iota for his country and the citizens of this great nation. Katrina was watching genocide unfold in America. 9/11 was watching a pee-your-pants President sit in a damned chair while people died. You are damned straight we are still pissed. His snide remarks to the Democrats were disgusting.
The callousness of the man is truly breath-taking, is it not? Congress needs to get off its collective ass and impeach and remove this fucker, and all his minions. Toot suite.
nice post mel & nice comment pursey. the 9/11 pet goat tape pretty much seals for me the idea bush knew something was going down beforehand (if not, it's just as bad--total suck-your-thumb incompetence) and now pee-your-pants prez is chastising the dems for extending tours, resending troops before they've had adequate stateside recupe time drives me thru the proverbial thing over my head that keeps the rain off it.
These drippy lipped hypocritical assholes stink so bad they can't smell their own stench. (Oh, in the troop things mentioned above Bush accuses the dems of being responsible for doing if they don't continue his war, is, of course, EXACTLY Bush is doing. Oh he forgot to accuse dems of recalling the guards back to active duty. Oh wait, he's the asshole doing that too!)
Whether it's Condi galvanting around chastizing the Chinese they need to reduce human rights violations while we have increased our own exponentially, or Bush "spreading democracy" while destroying our own, etc. etc. these bastards think we're so goddamn dumb we won't see these sanctimonious bastards exposing their own assholes.
Sadly, these *arrogant bastards* share the same name as one of my favorite beers which I'm drinking more and more of these past seven freakin' years.
And while I'm at it, I'm sick of the media and I'm sick of syrupy assed Americans (present co. excluded) against this fuckin' obscenity of a war, who are just that--sick of the war--but that's as far as they go) while they continue to sit on their lackdaisical asses (- but against the war, of course.)
